  • Patent number: 9443033
Abstract: The invention is directed to systems, methods and computer program products for data integration. An exemplary method includes receiving a data record at a system, comparing the received data record with an existing data record, determining a level of match between the received data record and the existing data record, and in response to determining the level of match is equal to or greater than a first threshold level and is less than or equal to a second threshold level, processing the data, wherein the second threshold level is greater is than the first threshold level. Additionally, the exemplary method includes mapping the received data record to a database accessible to the system.

  • Publication number: 20160170241
Abstract: Embodiments presented in this disclosure generally relate to an electro-optic device that includes one or more modulator portions and a terminator portion. Each modulator portion is disposed along a propagation path of an optical signal and includes a respective first doped region and one or more coupled first electrical contacts. Each modulator portion operates to modulate an optical signal propagating through the first doped region using first electrical signals applied to the electrical contacts. The terminator portion is disposed along the propagation path and proximate to at least one modulator portions, and operates to mitigate effects of droop on the propagating optical signal.

  • Publication number: 20160127465
Abstract: Systems, apparatus, and methods are disclosed for using a deduplication index, a centralized cache repository, and a data mapping mechanism to detect and synchronize changes to deduplicated data objects stored in two or more third party databases. The disclosed systems, apparatus, and methods can maintain, in a deduplication index, a two-way mapping between one or more data object references and a datagram which uniquely identifies the real-world entity represented by said data object; maintain, in the centralized cache repository, two temporal states, one including current information, the other including previously-synchronized information. The disclosed systems, apparatus, and methods can also implement the data mapping mechanism to determine corresponding data objects in other systems when one or more data objects have apparent changes when compared with the centralized cache repository, and apply a given configuration in order to synchronize the current temporal states of all such data objects.

  • Publication number: 20160024147
Abstract: High resolution protein A chromatography employing a chaotropic agent and pH gradient or pH step elution buffer results in improved peak resolution between closely related molecular species. Bispecific antibodies containing a protein A-binding-ablating substitution CH3 domain paired with a protein A-binding CH3 domain are separated with high peak resolution from monospecific antibodies containing a protein A-binding-ablating substituted CH3 domain paired with the protein A-binding-ablating substituted CH3 domain and monospecific antibodies containing a protein A-binding CH3 domain paired with the protein A-binding CH3 domain. Useful chaotropic agents include magnesium chloride and calcium chloride.

  • Publication number: 20160021471
Abstract: A tinnitus method and device for providing relief to a person suffering from the disturbing effects of tinnitus is described. The method can be implemented entirely in software to spectrally modify an audio signal in accordance with a predetermined masking algorithm which modifies the intensity of the audio signal at selected frequencies. A predetermined masking algorithm is described which provides intermittent masking of the tinnitus wherein, at a comfortable listening level, during peaks of the audio signal the tinnitus is completely obscured, whereas during troughs the perception of the tinnitus occasionally emerges. In practice it has been found that such intermittent masking provides an immediate sense of relief, control and relaxation for the person, whilst enabling sufficient perception of the tinnitus for habituation and long term treatment to occur. Advantageously the predetermined masking algorithm is specifically tailored to the audiometric configuration of the person.

  • Publication number: 20150086744
Abstract: A label and method for applying same. The label has a remaining portion having a front face, a back face, and an adhesive. The label also has a detachable portion removably coupled to the remaining portion via a weakened connection. The detachable portion has a front face, a back face, and a non-adhesive. Thus, a consumer can remove the detachable portion from the remaining portion via the weakened connection. The method includes obtaining the label, applying an adhesive, applying a non-adhesive, and affixing the label to the product whereby the detachable portion of the label can be detached.

  • Patent number: 8983275
Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatus for recording time delayed broadband content are provided. Desired content to be recorded may be identified by a programming processing component configured to receive broadband content output by a service provider. A channel associated with the desired content and an amount of delay associated with the channel may be determined. Based at least in part upon the determined amount of delay, the recording of the desired content may be scheduled by the programming processing component.
