Abstract: A multi-layered tape comprises in order (i) a substrate having first and second surfaces, (ii) a pressure-sensitive adhesive having first and second surfaces, the first surface of the adhesive being in contact with the first surface of the substrate, (iii) a plurality of continuous spaced apart elements attached to, or partially embedded into, the second surface of the adhesive that are positioned in an angular direction to the axis of the substrate length, and (iv) a release liner having a length and width so as to cover the second surface of the adhesive and the spaced apart elements.
