Abstract: Some examples of the disclosure are directed to a virtualized system on an electronic device. In some embodiments, a simulator application that includes a guest operating system is provided on an electronic device. In some embodiments, the simulator application provides a testing environment for a virtual experience of a secondary application that is in communication with the guest operating system. In some embodiments, the electronic device displays a user interface associated with the simulator application, the user interface including a computer-generated environment and an object. In some embodiments, while displaying the user interface, the electronic device receives an input that corresponds to a request to cause the object to perform a respective operation in the computer-generated environment. In some embodiments, in response to receiving the input, the electronic device causes the object to perform an operation based on the input and updates the computer-generated environment based on the operation.

A content creation application may be running on the first electronic device and may utilize a data file describing a three-dimensional content item. A two-dimensional representation of the content item may be displayed on the first electronic device. A user may request to preview the two-dimensional representation of the content item in three-dimensions. The first electronic device may initiate a data transfer with the second electronic device. The three-dimensional data of the data file may be transferred, via a communication link, from the content creation of the first electronic device to a three-dimensional graphic rendering application at the second electronic device. The three-dimensional graphic rendering application may generate a preview of the content item in three-dimensions based on the received three-dimensional data.

Abstract: Various implementations disclosed herein include devices, systems, and methods that enable two or more devices to simultaneously view or edit the same 3D model in the same or different settings/viewing modes (e.g., monoscopically, stereoscopically, in SR, etc.). In an example, one or more users are able to use different devices to interact in the same setting to view or edit the same 3D model using different views from different viewpoints. The devices can each display different views from different viewpoints of the same 3D model and, as changes are made to the 3D model, consistency of the views on the devices is maintained.
