  • Publication number: 20240360877
Abstract: A friction plate includes an annular groove pattern formed by first friction lining pads arranged between a radial outside and a radial center of the friction plate and second friction lining pads arranged between the radial center and a radial inside of the friction plate. The first friction lining have a triangular geometry at the radial outside and a rhomboid-shaped geometry at the radial center, and repeating in a circumferential direction. The second friction lining pads have a pentagonal geometry formed by a triangular geometry immediately adjacent to a rectangular geometry, and repeating in the circumferential direction. The annular groove pattern includes first segmentation grooves between respective ones of the first friction lining pads, second segmentation grooves between respective ones of the second friction lining pads, and a central segmentation groove separating the first friction lining pads from the second friction lining pads.

  • Publication number: 20240218910
Abstract: The invention relates to a wet disk brake with external oiling of a friction surface (34), having a circumference. To improve the cooling of the disk brake with external oiling and to minimize drag losses, the friction surface (34) has a zigzag-shaped or undulating groove running around the circumference or a groove (2) running tangentially around the circumference.

  • Publication number: 20240191766
Abstract: A friction pad includes a fastening surface, a friction surface facing away from the fastening surface, a shape delimited by a peripheral cutting edge, and a base rim extending along the peripheral cutting edge. The base rim is more compressed than a remainder of the friction pad. The reminder of the friction pad has a pad height and the base rim may have a base height that is at least one quarter of the pad height. The base rim may have a base width that is at least as large as the pad height.
