  • Patent number: 10302142
Abstract: A power tool is provided with a drive motor and a tool unit with a tool driven by the drive motor. A guide tube with telescoping section with external and internal tubes is provided, wherein the internal tube is longitudinally slidable within the external tube. A clamping device secures the internal tube relative to the external tube and has a clamping member supported rotatably relative to the internal tube and connected by a thread connection to the external tube. The clamping device is provided with a clamping ring with an opening arranged about an outer circumference of the internal tube. Compression of the clamping ring in longitudinal guide tube direction effects a size reduction of the clamping ring opening. The clamping ring has a first axial face supported relative to the external tube and a second axial face supported relative to the clamping member.

  • Publication number: 20180364997
Abstract: Embodiments provide a web-based editing tool that intelligently leverages certain functionality of a browser, web client, desktop client, and native software at the client side to provide seamless user experience when editing a file over a network. Responsive to a user selecting a file for editing, the web client may send a passive content request to a web server embedded in the desktop client at a specific address on the client device. If no response, the web client prompts the user to start or install the desktop client on the client device. If a response is received, the web client sends a request to the desktop client with a user identifier and authorization to download the file from a server. The desktop client downloads the file, opens it in the native software, monitors the file being edited, and updates a delta associated with the file to the server.

  • Publication number: 20180023680
Abstract: A work apparatus has a gear unit which is arranged in a gear housing. The gear unit includes a drive part arranged in a first housing part of the gear housing and an output part arranged in a second housing part. The two housing parts are connected to each other via a pivot joint which permits pivoting of the second housing relative to the first housing part about a pivot axis. The pivot joint has a clamping device for bracing the two housing parts in the direction of the pivot axis. The force exerted with the clamping device on the two housing parts is adjustable via a clamping element. To avoid loosening or releasing of the clamping device even after frequent pivoting, the clamping element moves during clamping in the direction of a clamping axis which encloses an angle ? which is more than 10° with the pivot axis.
