  • Patent number: 12625739
Abstract: System, method, and software of moving existing stacks in an AWS environment into a root stack. In one embodiment, a stack nesting system obtains a root template that describes a root stack in the AWS environment, identifies a nested stack existing in the AWS environment that is referenced in the root template, interacts with an AWS provisioning service (e.g., AWS CloudFormation) to update the nested stack to preclude default values assigned to parameters of the nested stack, and interacts with the AWS provisioning service to import the nested stack within the root stack in the AWS environment.

  • Publication number: 20250315251
Abstract: Apparatus, method, and software of managing dependencies in branches. In an embodiment, a dependency manager is implemented on an automation tool communicatively coupled to a package registry that stores code packages comprising main packages and branch packages. The dependency manager is configured to expect a publish command at the automation tool to publish a branch package for a development branch of main code, identify a name of the development branch, and modify a scope in a metadata file of the branch package with the name of the development branch. In an embodiment, the dependency manager is configured to predict an install command at the automation tool to install one or more dependencies specified for the development branch, and modify each dependency in the metadata file to reference a published branch package corresponding with the dependency when a valid published branch package is found.

  • Patent number: 11991247
Abstract: Systems and method for automated determination of granular object storage service metrics are provided. In one example, metadata regarding a subset of objects stored in one or more shared containers of an object storage service is retrieved. One or more meta properties (e.g., a storage tier with which the object is associated, a size of the object, an object type, a file type, user-defined tags, and a full path of the object, including, for example, information indicative of the application and the tenant) may be obtained for each object of the subset of objects. The subset of objects satisfy a set of one or more criteria involving the metadata and/or the meta properties. A total storage cost and/or a total size of the subset of objects is determined by aggregating a storage cost and/or a size of each object of the subset of objects.
