  • Publication number: 20250235330
Abstract: A prosthetic assistive device configured to attach to a distal end of a natural or prosthetic arm or wrist. The device may include a palm portion. A split hook may be coupled to a distal end of the palm portion. The split hook may comprise a first end effector and a second end effector. The prosthetic device may include a third end effector rotatably coupled to the palm portion at a proximal end of the palm portion. The third end effector may rotate about a transverse axis to pinch and unpinch, as well as rotate about a longitudinal axis to adduct and abduct. A rotating member such as a ring may rotate about a plate for adduction/abduction. The prosthetic device may include a drive assembly configured to rotate one or both of the split hook end effectors about two different axes.

  • Patent number: 11931271
Abstract: A prosthetic foot includes a foot portion and a switching adapter. The switching adapter includes a first member coupled to the foot portion, a second member, a third member interposed between the first member and the second member, and a locking mechanism. The third member has a first side wall and a second side wall larger in length than the first side wall. The third member is configured to rotate relative to the first member and the second member towards a first position, thereby placing the prosthetic device in a walking mode. The third member is further configured to rotate relative to the first member and the second member towards a second position, thereby placing the prosthetic device in a running mode. The locking mechanism is configured to rotate with the third member in response to rotation of the third member.
