Patent number: 11935127Abstract: This technology relates to providing a web-based digital claims platform to provide users with a simple and customized experience when filing insurance claims. The platform is enabled by a plurality of back-end application programming interface (API) resources. These API resources are event-driven (e.g., when an “event” associated with the claim occurs, the status of the claim changes and the API is provided with updated information indicative of the change). The platform includes a customized user interface (UI) that tailors the claim experience to a particular user's needs. The customization can be based off of stated user preferences and/or learned user preferences associated with the user's past behavior. A user can perform/request various services through the customized UI's self-service function (e.g., rent a car, find a hotel room, select a repair shop, etc.). Additionally, the customized UI can enable the user upload documents, track claim status, find relevant help topics, etc.Type: GrantFiled: February 9, 2022Date of Patent: March 19, 2024Assignee: State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance CompanyInventors: William Simonovich, Jordan Leach, Natalie Smith, Brittany Boyer, Yohan Santos, Kenrick Niedbalski, Richard Kim, Deborah Taylor, Jared Musil, Archy Ntabona, Abdul Wahab, Loubna Fassi, Mary Gonsalves, Benjamin Tarmann, Sam Yeargin

Patent number: 11910794Abstract: The invention provides novel solutions and methods for storage and delivery of pollen to a female reproductive part of a recipient plant. The pollen storage solution provided includes a solute that maintains the tonicity of the pollen storage solution at a concentration between about 0.5 M and about 3.0 M and a cryoprotectant. The methods provided include storing the pollen storage solution and applying pollen stored in the storage pollen solution to at least a first female reproductive part of a recipient plant, thereby pollinating the female reproductive part with the stored pollen from the donor plant.Type: GrantFiled: February 25, 2022Date of Patent: February 27, 2024Assignee: Monsanto Technology LLCInventors: Zachary Boyer, Benjamin T. Patent number: 11068175Abstract: A system including a storage drive and a semiconductor apparatus coupled to the storage drive, is provided. The semiconductor apparatus may include one or more substrates and logic coupled to the one or more substrates, the logic coupled to the one or more substrates to: initiate managing resources of the storage drive and, if the storage drive loses capacity, determine an amount of capacity loss, create a reserved file that is associated with logical memory space in a file system, based on the amount of the capacity loss, and erase at least a portion of the reserved file so that logical memory space associated with an un-erased portion of the reserved file is usable by the storage drive.Type: GrantFiled: December 21, 2018Date of Patent: July 20, 2021Assignee: Intel CorporationInventors: Marcin Pioch, Michael Mesnier, Anand Ramalingam, Benjamin Boyer, Kapil Karkra, Piotr Wysocki

Patent number: 9817639Abstract: A method, system, apparatus, computer program product, and computer readable storage medium provide the ability to define an object in a parametric modeling application. Geometric parametric objects are authored and organized into a family definition. Via a user interface, enhanced computational logic is defined. The logic is compiled into the family definition such that the enhanced computational logic is embedded at an object level of the one or more geometric parametric objects. Upon a building information model requiring a regeneration operation, the compiled enhanced computational logic is automatically executed.Type: GrantFiled: September 29, 2014Date of Patent: November 14, 2017Assignee: Autodesk, Inc.Inventors: Matthew David Jezyk, Lev Lipkin, Stephen J. Elliott, Peter Benjamin Boyer

Publication number: 20160273272Abstract: A drill bit (26), the drill bit (26) comprising: a substantially tubular bit body (30) defining a body proximal end (32) and a substantially longitudinally opposed body distal end (34); a crown (38) extending from the bit body (30) at the body distal end (34), the crown (38) having a generally annular configuration defining crown inner and outer diameters (48 and 50); the crown (38) including a plurality of segments (46) provided between the crown inner and outer diameters (48 and 50), at least one of the segments (46) extending only partially radially across the crown (38) between the crown inner and outer diameters (48 and 50).Type: ApplicationFiled: December 16, 2013Publication date: September 22, 2016Inventors: Benjamin Boyer, Ariel Schtenbarg, Philippe Alix

Publication number: 20120129661Abstract: Devices, apparatuses, systems and/or methods related to weight plates. Specifically, the disclosed devices, apparatuses, systems and/or methods relate to nested weight plates including a first weight plate increment and a second weight plate increment configured to receive the first weight plate increment. The nested weight plates may include a turning mechanism including a turning circle and/or a screw. The screw may be received by the first weight plate increment such that rotation of the turning circle engages and/or disengages the second weight plate increment. In this manner, a user may select to total weight desired.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 14, 2010Publication date: May 24, 2012Applicant: Exemplar Design, LLCInventors: Adam Ross, Benjamin Boyer
