Abstract: A computer implemented method and system for an automated customer service platform with human augmented conversational interleaving is disclosed. The method comprises estimating a latent load of the air in a zone being disinfected; selecting a set of one or more control from a plurality of control that is expected to improve the optimization metric; optimizing a metric for the set of allowable control and changing the setpoints of the set of control when the optimized metric has converged.

Abstract: A burr hole cover is provided that is constructed to be positioned within a recessed region formed on a patient's skull in order to conceal a burr hole. The burr hole cover may be affixed to the patient's skull in the recessed region. For instance, surgical fastening devices may be inserted through apertures defined in the burr hole cover. The burr hole cover may have a thickness and curvature that enables it to be substantially flush with the surface of the skull when affixed in the recessed region. The burr hole cover's curvature follows the contour of the patient's skull. The burr hole cover may include one or more perforations sized to allow air (or moisture) to flow towards the burr hole, which promotes skin/bone growth. Some of the perforations may be large enough to permit access to the brain with leads and/or drainage devices.

Abstract: A total hip arthroplasty includes a femoral prosthesis and an acetabular prosthesis. The femoral prosthesis has a ball on a neck portion of a femoral component including a noncircular femoral body a portion coated with a porous bone ingrowth coating for noncemented fixation within a resected patient femur. The femoral body is tapered, to include a combination of a medial-lateral taper, an anterior-posterior taper, and a lateral-to-medial taper for secure seated fixation into the medullary canal of a resected femur. The acetabular prosthesis includes a hemispherical metal cup having a porous bone ingrowth surface for secure fixation within a prepared patient acetabular socket. A bearing insert is initially seated within the acetabular cup in a “trial” position without locking to determine cup placement and freedom of leg movement, and thereafter reseated in a “lock” position. A femoral broach and a bone punch tool are also provided.
