Abstract: A fiber management cassette for storing loops of one or more optical fiber elements is disclosed. An exemplary cassette includes a first module comprising a first portion of a winding area and first fixing elements and a second module comprising a second portion of the winding area and second fixing elements. The first fixing elements are configured to engage with the second fixing elements for releasably interconnecting the first module and the second module and to join the first portion and the second portion to form the winding area, which is configured to store the loops of one or more optical fiber elements. The first module comprises a fiber passageway allowing the optical fiber elements to enter and exit the cassette.
