  • Patent number: 7419179
Abstract: A snow ski board (1) such as a ski, monoski, or a snowboard, with a vertical plane of general symmetry (P) includes a body or base (2) that includes at least in a binding zone (3) two hollow lateral recesses (8a, 8b) extending longitudinally. A longitudinal rib (11) is defined between the recesses. Each of the longitudinal recesses (8a, 8b) opens at least towards the top (HA). The body (2) is affixed, at least in the binding zone (3) to a supplementary element (4) having two lateral longitudinal parts (4a, 4b) which extend longitudinally and parallel. The two lateral longitudinal parts (4a, 4b) are affixed into the longitudinal recesses (8a, 8b) and are linked by at least one transverse connector (4c).

  • Patent number: 7404564
Abstract: A snow gliding board (1) comprises, in particular, an upper surface consisting of an upper decorative and protective element (16) having a recess in which an insert (21, 22, 23) is fitted. The insert (21, 22, 23) comprises at least one first part made of an elastomer material (24) juxtaposed on the upper surface with at least one second part made of a metallic material (26).

  • Publication number: 20070296181
Abstract: A board (1) for sliding on snow such as a ski, a monoski or a snowboard, with vertical plane of general symmetry (P), comprising a principal part, known as body or base (2), having the shape of an elongated beam having its own thickness distribution, contour, width and stiffness, and can be of any type of structure, and which includes a central zone known as of the waist (7) extended towards the front by a front part (8) raised at its end to form a tip (6), and towards the rear by a rear part (9) terminating in a tail (6?), including at least two supplemental elements (10) extending towards the front at least on the front part, to extend the zone of the waist, said supplemental elements including two longitudinal side arms (10a, 10b) disposed laterally relative to the plane ā€œPā€, said longitudinal side arms constituting at least a dynamic means for recall of the base, characterized in that the side arms are connected by a transverse connector (11) including a part independent of the side arms.

  • Publication number: 20060290104
Abstract: A ski, monoski, or snowboard includes a base plate (2) with a platform (3) mounted to its central portion to receiving bindings for binding a skier's boot to the platform. A set of four longitudinal elements (40, 41, 42, 43) have one end (40a, 41a, 42a, 43a) which is removably attached to the platform, a second end (40b, 41b, 42b, 43b) which engages a forward or rearward portion of the base plate (2), space and a bridge (40c, 41c, 42c, 43c) between the first and second ends. The bridge is prestressed in order to augment the pressure applied by the boot during skiing to forward and rearward portions of the base plate and to provide a dynamic means of recall for returning the base plate toward a home position.
