  • Patent number: 11988290
Abstract: A multi-level rotor for a coolant flow control valve assembly, which accommodates an increased number of inlet ports, outlet ports, and flow channels using a single rotor located in a housing, enabling a larger number of flow configurations. The housing includes nine ports which may function as an inlet or an outlet, which facilitates different flow configurations. For a thermal management system, reduced cost and less space utilization is achieved by a reduced number of valves, where the multi-level rotor is able to fluidically connect multiple inlets/outlets. This enables different flow configurations, depending on the degree of rotation. The channels at different levels are sealed from each other within the housing. The flow channels are manufactured into a single entity, therefore always having the same positional accuracy relative to each other when the rotor is repositioned.

  • Publication number: 20240157399
Abstract: An acoustic matching structure is used to increase the power radiated from a transducing element with a higher impedance into a surrounding acoustic medium with a lower acoustic impedance. The acoustic matching structure consists of a thin, substantially planar cavity bounded by a two end walls and a side wall. The end walls of the cavity are formed by a blocking plate wall and a transducing element wall separated by a short distance (less than one quarter of the wavelength of acoustic waves in the surrounding medium at the operating frequency). The end walls and side wall bound a cavity with diameter approximately equal to half of the wavelength of acoustic waves in the surrounding medium. In operation, a transducing element generates acoustic oscillations in the fluid in the cavity.

  • Patent number: 11985124
Abstract: Leveraging secure tokenization, such as a Non-Fungible Token (NFT), for purposes of multifactor and/or elevated user authentication. In this regard, an authentication NFT is generated based at least on a user's authentication credentials. Subsequently, the authentication NFT is verified/validated via a private distributed trust computing network and stored, in a deactivated state, on a distributed ledger. Once the user is confronted with an elevated and/or multifactored authentication process, the user may initiates use of the authentication NFT by checking-out the authentication NFT from the distributed ledger and moving the authentication NFT from the deactivated state to an activated state, in which the user credentials are accessible to the user for purposes of authentication.

  • Publication number: 20240134858
Abstract: A database system is operable to determine a query for execution. A disjunction of a plurality of conjunctive normal form (CNF) filtering predicates is determined based on filtering predicates of the query. An IO pipeline is generated based on the disjunction of the plurality of CNF filtering predicates that includes, based on applying at least one type of optimization, at least one shared IO element common to multiple ones of plurality of the CNF filtering predicates. The IO pipeline is executed in accordance with execution of the query to generate a filtered subset of a plurality of rows that each meet at least one of the plurality of CNF filtering predicates.

  • Publication number: 20240111745
Abstract: A method includes performing a search of an inverted index structure indexing values of a column to generate an in-range indexed value set by identifying all indexed values of the inverted index structure falling within a range corresponding to a range-based filter. A set of characteristics of the in-range indexed value set are identified based on performing the search of an inverted index structure. When the set of characteristics compare favorably to the set of index-usage requirements, output is generated based on performing a plurality of searches to the inverted index structure based on the in-range indexed value set. When the set of characteristics compare unfavorably to the set of index-usage requirements, the output is generated without performing any searches to the inverted index structure.

  • Publication number: 20240106649
Abstract: Multifactor user authentication leveraging secure tokenization, such as a Non-Fungible Token (NFT) and multiple passkeys (e.g., bifurcated passkey). One or more authentication NFTs are generated that use some form of a user's authentication credentials as the seed input for the NFT encryption/hash algorithm(s). In addition, passkeys are distributed to and/or made accessible to multiple passkey holders. In response to an event that requests multifactor authentication of the user, a plurality passkeys are requested, received and verified. Each of the passkeys being requested and received from, or at the directive of, one of the multiple passkey holders. In response to verifying the plurality of passkeys, at least one of the authentication NFTs is accessed and the cryptographic hash algorithm(s) is implemented to decrypt the authentication NFT(s) and identify the one or more user credentials.

  • Publication number: 20240086433
Abstract: Embodiments support systems and methods for classifying and ranking headnote reports based on a query, and for outputting a highest ranked headnote in response to the query. In an aspect, headnote scores may be calculated for each headnote of a plurality of headnotes to determine a measure of correspondence between a given headnote and the query. In an aspect, a dataset including at least the query, the headnotes, and the headnote scores may be provided to and analyzed by a classifier to produce a set of classifications. In an aspect, the headnote scores and the set of classifications may be determined by at least one machine learning model. In an aspect, the classifications enable the ranking of the headnotes relative to one another, such that the highest ranked headnote may be the headnote most responsive to the query. In an aspect, a method may include outputting the highest ranked headnote.

  • Publication number: 20230403247
Abstract: Implementing artificial intelligence, specifically, machine learning techniques to identify malicious emails and, in response, identifying and conducting actions, including reporting the malicious emails to identified internal and/or external entities and preventing the malicious emails from being delivered to email client mailboxes. The machine learning techniques rely on malicious email patterns identified, at least, from previously identified malicious emails and data resulting from continuously crawling the Web and threat intelligence sources. Further, the email clients may be configured to include an add-on feature in which the user can provide a single input to report the email as being suspicious, which results in further analysis to determine whether the email is, in fact, a malicious email.
