  • Publication number: 20230391457
Abstract: A seat back for an aircraft seat includes a first side wall, a second side wall and a support wall for supporting a passenger leaning against the seat back. The first side wall and the second side wall each include a front edge and a rear edge. At least part of the support wall is positioned adjacent the front edge of the first side wall and the second side wall. The first side wall and the second side wall each include an aperture for receiving a bolt and the support wall includes one or more shaped surfaces to allow (i) insertion of a bolt through the aperture in each of the side walls from a position which is between the first and second side walls and in front of the shaped surface, and (ii) adjustment of the or each bolt from the front of the seat back.

  • Publication number: 20230391454
Abstract: A seat back for an aircraft seat includes an energy absorbing device for permitting movement of the seat back from a first position to a second position when a force is applied to an upper region of the seat back and a guide for guiding movement of the seat back between the first position and the second position. A first connector for connecting the energy absorbing device to the seat back of an aircraft seat and a second connector for connecting the energy absorbing device to the frame of an aircraft seat or a recline mechanism are joined by a breakable member which is configured to break when a predetermined force is applied to move the first connector away from the second connecter.

  • Patent number: 10364774
Abstract: A gaseous fuel introducer comprising a first mounting surface shaped and located to couple to a first wall of a charger; a first input, the first input being an air input; a second input, the second input being a gaseous fuel input; and a charge output. The charge output supplies a fuel-containing charge to an input of the charger. The introducer has a first mounting position that defines a first orientation of the second input relative to the charger. The introducer also has a second mounting position that defines a second orientation of the second input relative to the charger that is different than the first orientation.

  • Patent number: 8820291
Abstract: A connecting rod including a connecting rod body and a cap attached to the connecting rod body by a plurality of bolts. The connecting rod body includes a shank having a centerline. Two of the bolts are positioned at a first distance from the centerline and two of the bolts are positioned at a second distance from the centerline that is greater than the first distance. The plurality of bolts may be disposed symmetrically about a centroid of a planar face of the connecting rod.
