  • Patent number: 11974639
Abstract: A connection arrangement for use with a wearable body harness has a first connector with a first fixed buckle configured to connect to a first portion of a first shoulder strap of the harness, and a first adjustable buckle configured to connect to a second portion of the first shoulder strap. The connection arrangement further has a second connector removably connectable to the first connector. The second connector has a second fixed buckle configured to connect to a first portion of a second shoulder strap of the harness, and a second adjustable buckle configured to connect to a second portion of the second shoulder strap. Each of the first adjustable buckle and the second adjustable buckle has an adjustment mechanism configured for adjusting a length of the second portion of the first and second shoulder straps by selective frictional engagement with the second portion of the first and second shoulder straps.

  • Publication number: 20240082865
Abstract: A mask forming system for protecting a structure and a method of forming a mask for protecting the structure includes a masking material having a first layer, a second layer, and a third layer sandwiched together. The masking material is unrolled across a platform and a plurality of features are generated in the masking material, wherein the features include printing, kiss cutting, and double-kiss cutting the masking material. Data is printed on the first layer of the masking material. The first layer of the masking material is kiss cut. The second layer of the masking material is double-kiss cut. The third layer remains uncut and unprinted on during the formation of the mask. The masking material remains in the same orientation during printing and kiss cutting of the first layer, and the masking material remains in the same orientation during double-kiss cutting of the second layer.

  • Patent number: 11915916
Abstract: A high temperature plasma generating system has a magnetron joined to a frustoconical waveguide reflector. An antenna is set on a cavity magnetron tube and extends the length of the antenna. Applying electrical power to the magnetron creates multipactor in the frustoconical waveguide reflector, generating plasma focused at the tip of the extended magnetron antenna.

  • Publication number: 20210280402
Abstract: A high temperature plasma generating system has a ceramic magnetron insulator joined to a frustoconical waveguide reflector. A cavity magnetron tube is joined to the frustoconical waveguide reflector. An antenna is set in the cavity magnetron tube and extending through the ceramic magnetron insulator. Applying an electrical current to the magnetron creates multipactor in the frustoconical waveguide reflector generating plasma focused at the tip of the magnetron antenna.

  • Patent number: 9177062
Abstract: The present technology includes systems and methods for searching for social profiles based on user search queries and sorting search results based on determining and matching personal similarities. In some implementations, the systems and methods retrieve a plurality of search results that either partially or fully match a search query by a user of an online community for a particular social profile. The systems and methods determine a plurality of personal similarity factors relating to the search results and compare them to the profile of the user requesting the search based on predetermined criteria and assign varying weights to the personal similarity factors. The weights are aggregated and total scores for the search results are computed. The systems and methods sort the search results based on the total scores to identify and separate results of greater interest to the user from those that of less interest.

  • Patent number: 8410318
Abstract: Disclosed is a process for the preparation of 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol from terephthalic acid. Terephthalic acid is esterified with (4-methylcyclohexyl)methanol and the terephthalate ester hydrogenated to 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol in a 2-stage process. The (4-methylcyclohexyl)methanol that is formed during the hydrogenation step is recycled to the esterification reaction. Also disclosed is a method for purifying and recovering the 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol product.
