    Abstract: A ratchet bracket electrical box includes ratchet locking plates and adjustment spring arms secured to the sides of an electrical box or other suitable component to enable the position of the electrical box or component to be adjusted after the electrical box is secured within a wall, floor or ceiling. Using spring arms and unlocking tabs enables the box position to be adjusted without any tools after installation.
