    Abstract: Approaches presented herein provide for the automated detection of physical state information for a set of components, such as those present in a datacenter. The physical state information can be obtained by using one or more sensors (e.g., cameras) to capture visual or other physical data for one or more components. The captured sensor data can be analyzed to determine physical state aspects for various components. This observed state can be compared, using an artificial intelligence (AI) model trained on physical language, to a typical set of state data to attempt to identify any anomalies. If any anomalies are identified, an AI actor can determine whether any of those anomalies are related to a current or potential problem, and if so, can generate some type of notification or alarm to cause the problem to be investigated.

If an opening or hole forms in either the first or second layers, the flow restrictive material may block fluid ingress/egress to maintain operation of the multi-layer tubular until maintenance or repairs can be scheduled.

    Abstract: Methods, devices, and systems automatically monitor and mitigate contamination caused by particulate in air that enters a server enclosure during operation. A particulate sensor detects an amount of particulate in the air and, when the amount exceeds a predetermined particulate limit value, a filter is automatically moved into an airflow path between an environment outside of the server enclosure and an environment inside the server enclosure. In this position, air entering the server enclosure is caused to pass through the filter when the predetermined particulate limit value is exceeded. In addition to active filtering, detected contamination across several units of scale is mapped to generate an air quality trend. The air quality trend provides information to technical personnel about contamination events and can aid in addressing the source of contamination before damage occurs to a server.

An example in-rack thermal management system includes a cooling distribution unit (CDU) that includes a housing that defines a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet, thermal management components supported by the housing, and direct mechanical connections coupled with the fluid inlet and the fluid outlet. The in-rack thermal management system includes a fluid distribution system that includes a primary fluid channel directly coupled with the direct mechanical connection of the fluid inlet, and a secondary fluid channel directly coupled with the direct mechanical connection of the fluid outlet. In operation, the thermal management components dissipate heat of a fluid received by the CDU via the fluid inlet. The direct mechanical connections directly interface with the fluid distribution system to provide fluid communication between the CDU and the fluid distribution system to maximize dimensions of the housing.
