  • Patent number: 12391280
Abstract: A method for ascertaining a spatial orientation of a trailer of an autonomously driving towing vehicle with trailer. In the method, sensor data of a plurality of different sensor types are processed, so that the trailer and objects in the environment are identified in the sensor data, the sensor data communicated by the various sensor types and processed in this way being combined with one another, and the movement path of the trailer relative to the objects in the environment being determined on the basis of these combined sensor data.

  • Patent number: 12198332
Abstract: Embodiments described herein provide for training a machine learning model for automatic organ segmentation. A processor executes a machine learning model using an image to output at least one predicted organ label for a plurality of pixels of the image. Upon transmitting the at least one predicted organ label to a correction computing device, the processor receives one or more image fragments identifying corrections to the at least one predicted organ label. Upon transmitting the one or more image fragments and the image to a plurality of reviewer computing devices, the processor receives a plurality of inputs indicating whether the one or more image fragments are correct. When a number of inputs indicating an image fragment of the image fragments is correct exceeds a threshold, the processor aggregates the image fragment into a training data set. The processor trains the machine learning model with the training data set.

  • Publication number: 20240100742
Abstract: The invention relates to a method in which a starting material for injection-molding, having a viscosity of between 0.50 and 0.7 dL/g, is produced with the aid of a chain breaker from a recycled post-consumer PET having a viscosity of between 0.72 and 0.86 dL/g according to ASTM D4603 and a copolymer fraction of at most approximately 3%. In the method, the comminuted and dried PET material is melted and decontaminated to such a degree that it is suitable for applications in the food sector and the consumer goods sector. A chain breaker is added to the rPET material in the melt of the recycling extruder and/or preferably the melt of the injection unit in order to lower the viscosity and to enrich the PET with copolymers.

  • Patent number: 11722949
Abstract: A static memory device including an instrument, a wireless radio, a shared memory, an outgoing memory portion and an incoming memory portion. The instrument includes an environmental sensing device, a hazard detection device, and/or an industrial safety device. The wireless radio sends and receives information on a wireless mesh network. The shared memory is connected to the instrument and wireless radio and includes static message memory having static messages related to the instrument. The outgoing memory portion receives outgoing information from the instrument and transmits the outgoing information to the wireless radio for transmission on the wireless mesh network. The incoming memory portion receives incoming information from the wireless radio and transmits the incoming information to the instrument. The shared memory restricts the wireless radio and the instrument from both raising grant lines and granting data to either the incoming memory portion or the outgoing memory portion simultaneously.
