  • Publication number: 20260179476
Abstract: A monitoring device for isolating an event detection device is described herein. One monitoring device includes a memory and a processor coupled to the memory, wherein the processor is configured to receive a command to enter an event detection device into a test mode, receive sensor data from the event detection device prior to, during, and subsequent to a smoke test of the event detection device performed while the event detection device is in the test mode, and reset the event detection device to cease the test mode in response to determining a smoke chamber of the event detection device is cleared of test media based on the sensor data.

  • Publication number: 20260173012
Abstract: Devices, methods, and systems for determining location in a facility using beaconing are described herein. One method includes generating a 3D model of a facility, including, in the model, 3D mappings of a plurality of radio signals respectively associated with a plurality of wireless beacons in the facility, and determining a location of a person carrying a mobile device based, at least in part, on a correlation between a strength of a signal received by the mobile device and the model.

  • Publication number: 20260160592
Abstract: Devices, methods, and systems for sound level testing are described herein. An example mobile device includes a user interface, a memory, and a processor configured to execute instructions stored in the memory to determine a sound emitting device of a facility that is located closest to the mobile device based on location information received by the mobile device, receive, via the user interface, an instruction to initiate a sound level test of the sound emitting device that is located closest to the mobile device, send, to a computing device, a command to initiate the sound level test of the sound emitting device that is located closest to the mobile device responsive to receiving the instruction, and record, during the sound level test, a sound level of the sound emitting device that is located closest to the mobile device.

  • Publication number: 20260162517
Abstract: Manual initiating device isolation and testing is described herein. One manual initiating device includes a switch configured to activate a fire alarm system and a controller configured to receive a command to enter the manual initiating device into a test mode, indicate the manual initiating device is in the test mode in response to receiving the command to enter the test mode, receive an actuation of the switch while the manual initiating device is in the test mode, and indicate the manual initiating device has been tested in response to the actuation of the switch.
