In one example, the method comprises acts of displaying a multimedia element on a display of a computer device, receiving a notation element from a user of the computer device, determining, by a processor, at the time of receiving the notation element, a related portion of the multimedia element, and storing, on a storage medium, the notation element in association with a reference to the related portion of the multimedia event.
