Abstract: Systems and processes of comparing medical benefit options obtained from different, external sources are disclosed. The processes include a method of comparing plan benefits implemented in a computing system. The method includes: obtaining plan information associated with different plans from different external sources and which are related to pre-defined categories; normalizing the plan information into a common form for each of the pre-defined categories; and generating a visual display of a plurality of selectable and dynamically changeable areas each of which is associated with a pre-defined category of a different plan and which is populated with the normalized imported plan information in a standard format in a side-by-side manner.

The method includes providing a message panel, which provides linking functionality to link together a plurality of tasks to respective users assigned to complete each task; linking the message panel to a subject topic such that each of the tasks and respective users is linked to the subject topic; sending, in a single electronic communication action, the plurality of tasks assigned to the respective users within the message panel; receiving real-time status data of each of the tasks assigned to the respective users; mapping, within a database, the real-time status data of the plurality of tasks to the linked subject topic; and generating a summary for the tasks linked to the subject topic based on the mapping of the real-time status.

A method includes generating a first level user interface (UI) based on a user input, wherein the first level UI simultaneously displays information of plural different insurance plans in respective areas associated with the plural different insurance plans; receiving a user input of a selected topic at an area of the first level UI outside the respective areas; and reconfiguring the first level UI to display, in the respective areas, information regarding the selected topic for each of the plural different insurance plans.

Abstract: Systems and methods of modeling expenses based on demographic information are disclosed. The method of modeling medical insurance expenses is implemented by a computer system. The method includes determining an initial estimate of a contribution cost to a consumer for a plurality of offered medical insurance plans based on demographic information associated with the consumer. The method further includes launching the consumer to an estimator tool which displays values associated with different scenarios initially based on the demographic information. The method further includes recalculating the initial estimate of the contribution cost of the plurality of offered medical insurance plans based on adjusted values of one or more of the different scenarios, as adjusted by the consumer. The method further includes displaying, as an updated estimate contribution cost, the recalculated initial estimate of the contribution cost to the consumer for each of the offered medical insurance plans.

Abstract: A hub-based user interface (UI) is provided for obtaining and presenting employee benefits information. The hub-based UI may present the user with a comprehensive view of the state of the benefits based on inputs provided by the user. A method of generating an employee benefit UI includes determining, by a computer system, one or more benefits based on a combination of user input and a predefined set of benefits. The method also includes generating, by the computer system, a reconfigurable, dynamic hub UI that includes a listing of the one or more benefits, wherein each of the one or more benefits in the listing includes a respective selectable object. The method additionally includes navigating to a benefit UI associated with a particular one of the one or more benefits based on receiving a selection of the selectable object associated with the particular one of the benefits.
