  • Patent number: 11940722
Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods are described which provide a camera mount system. The camera mount system can include, for example, a first optical element and a second optical element. Incoming light from a scope on a weapon, for example, is partially transmitted and partially reflected by the first optical element. The partially transmitted light passes through an eyepiece to a viewer (e.g., a shooter). The partially reflected light is reflected by the second optical element and is recorded by a recording device (e.g., a camera, a video recorder, an image sensor, etc.). The viewer has direct access to the scope optics, a spotting scope, or binoculars, for example, and the camera and the viewer have access to the same view.

  • Patent number: 11431703
Abstract: A biometric authentication system is disclosed that provides authentication capability using biometric data in connection with a challenge for parties engaging in digital communications such as digital text-oriented, interactive digital communications. End-user systems may be coupled to devices that include biometric data capture devices such as retina scanners, fingerprint recorders, cameras, microphones, ear scanners, DNA profilers, etc., so that biometric data of a communicating party may be captured and used for authentication purposes.

  • Patent number: 11335320
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable storage media for intelligent caching of concatenative speech units for use in speech synthesis. A system configured to practice the method can identify speech units that are required for synthesizing speech. The system can request from a server the text-to-speech unit needed to synthesize the speech. The system can then synthesize speech using text-to-speech units already stored and a received text-to-speech unit from the server.

  • Publication number: 20220020127
Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, receiving first image data for a first image from an electronic device, the first image data including first information associated with a first object identified by the electronic device as being in the first image. Second image data for a second image is received from the electronic device subsequent to receiving the first image data. The second image data includes second information associated with a second object identified by the electronic device as being in the second image. Location information is determined based on the first information and the second information and sent to the electronic device. Other embodiments are disclosed.

  • Patent number: 10115185
Abstract: A method includes receiving first image data at an electronic device, and performing a first image recognition operation on the first image data based on a first image recognition model stored in a memory of the electronic device. The method may include sending an image recognition model update request from the electronic device to a server, in response to determining that a result of the first image recognition operation fails to satisfy a confidence threshold. The method includes receiving image recognition model update information from the server and updating the first image recognition model based on the image recognition model update information to generate a second image recognition model. The method further includes performing a second image recognition operation based on the second image recognition model.

  • Patent number: 10097997
Abstract: Systems, methods, and programs for generating an authorized profile for a text communication device or account, may sample a text communication generated by the text communication device or account during communication and may store the text sample. The systems, methods, and programs may extract a language pattern from the stored text sample and may create an authorized profile based on the language pattern. Systems, methods, and programs for detecting unauthorized use of a text communication device or account may sample a text communication generated by the device or account during communication, may extract a language pattern from the audio sample, and may compare extracted language pattern of the sample with an authorized user profile.

  • Patent number: 9894064
Abstract: A biometric authentication system is disclosed that provides a trusted third party biometric authentication capability for independent confirmation of identity of parties. A repository of biometric templates for registered parties is disclosed that permit a biometric authenticator to perform independent authentication services for other parties by matching received biometric information against biometric information in the repository, or by providing requested biometric information.

  • Patent number: 9773498
Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems, methods, and computer-readable storage devices for fetching speech processing models based on context changes in advance of speech requests using the speech processing models. An example local device configured to practice the method, having a local speech processor, and having access to remote speech models, detects a change in context. The change in context can be based on geographical location, language translation, speech in a different language, user language settings, installing or removing an app, and so forth. The local device can determine a speech processing model that is likely to be needed based on the change in context, and that is not stored on the local device. Independently of an explicit request to process speech, the local device can retrieve, from a remote server, the speech processing model for use on the mobile device.
