Abstract: Systems and methods for managing network operations are described. An illustrative system includes a plurality of network components, in which each network component generates a plurality of network component data, and a mediation node that receives the plurality of network component data. The mediation node associates a plurality of time series data and a network topology with the network component data. The mediation node includes at least one baseline module that receives a selected subset of the network component data and generates at least one baseline for anomaly detection. The system may further include at least one application component communicatively coupled to the mediation node, and the application component may receive the time series data, the plurality of subsets of the network component data, and a plurality of baselines and identify a relationship.

Abstract: A non-rule based security detection system and method is described. The method includes identifying a plurality of data sources. The method then proceeds to generate a baseline for each data source. The baseline includes a plurality of data source outputs that are evaluated over a time period. A plurality of data source anomalies are detected, in which each data source anomaly is associated with at least one data source output exceeding a threshold for the data source baseline. A geolocation for each data source anomaly is then identified. A plurality of correlations between the plurality of data source anomalies and the geolocation for each data source anomaly are generated. At least one correlation is associated with a security event.

The method may also include selecting some of the nodes as potential hub nodes and determining, for each of the potential hub nodes, a bandwidth needed to forward traffic from the potential hub node to a mobile switching office. The method may further include determining, for each of the potential hub nodes, bandwidths needed to forward traffic from the potential hub node to other ones of the nodes and calculating, for each of the potential hub nodes, costs or latencies associated with forwarding traffic from the potential hub node to the mobile switching office and to other ones of the nodes. The method may also include selecting a hub node based on the calculated costs and/or latencies.

Abstract: The invention is a method and system for customizing a plurality of hospitality site amenities based on a stored user profile. Certain check-in procedures are reduced or eliminated. Hospitality sites are able to provide a guest with an abundance of personalized services without a corresponding increase in staff size. Guests experience customized hotel amenities, environments, and media renderings.

A biometric sample is captured from a guest using a biometric-sample-capture device to create a portable biometric profile. The biometric sample is compared to a biometric sample previously stored in a memory location. If the guest is authenticated, he/she is approved for check-in. A user profile can be retrieved that has a set of user preferences. These user preferences can then be used to customize the guests stay at the hospitality site. Many hospitality sites can remotely access the biometric profile to effect authentication.

The connection port operationally receives the connector. The docking base is equipped with a plurality of communications ports for communicating media content to a receiving devices inputted thorough said communications ports. In an alternative embodiment, an adapter is provided for mating a conventional MCRC with a base member.
