    Abstract: Present embodiments relate to ionization of air flow within heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. More specifically, but without limitation, present embodiments relate to ionization systems, for example bipolar ionization, which are controlled in part by a signal from or powered by the blower motor controller of the HVAC system so that the ionization system functions when the blower is on.
