    Abstract: A cranial lead fixation device includes a body configured for fixation to a cranium over or within a burr hole, and a fixation mechanism associated with the body. The body and fixation mechanism capture a medical device (e.g., a lead, catheter, or similar device) within a fixation channel of the cranial lead fixation device for protection of the burr hole and securement of the medical device. The cranial lead fixation device is operable for a first open configuration and a second closed configuration.
