  • Publication number: 20250077942
Abstract: A unified boundary machine learning model is capable of processing perception data received from various types of perception sensors on an autonomous vehicle to generate perceived boundaries of various semantic boundary types. Such perceived boundaries may then be used, for example, to control the autonomous vehicle, e.g., by generating a trajectory therefor. In some instances, the various semantic boundary types detectable by a unified boundary machine learning model may include at least a virtual construction semantic boundary type associated with a virtual boundary formed by multiple spaced apart construction elements, as well as an additional semantic boundary type associated with one or more other types of boundaries such as boundaries defined by physical barriers, painted or taped lines, road edges, etc.

  • Publication number: 20250065912
Abstract: A live map system may be used to propagate observations collected by autonomous vehicles operating in an environment to other autonomous vehicles and thereby supplement a digital map used in the control of the autonomous vehicles. In addition, a live map system in some instances may be used to propagate location-based teleassist triggers to autonomous vehicles operating within an environment. A location-based teleassist trigger may be generated, for example, in association with a teleassist session conducted between an autonomous vehicle and a remote teleassist system proximate a particular location, and may be used to automatically trigger a teleassist session for another autonomous vehicle proximate that location and/or to propagate a suggested action to that other autonomous vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20250021676
Abstract: A method includes identifying, by a processing device, an object provided in a cloud-based environment. For the object, a first object portion definition and a second object portion definition are generated. The first object portion definition relates to a first portion of the object and the second object portion definition relates to a second portion of the object. A role is associated with the first object portion definition. Responsive to a request of a user associated with the role to access the object, the user is provided with access to the first portion of the object.

  • Patent number: 11234458
Abstract: A rolling paper is formed according to a modified conventional paper-making process. The end product is infused with cannabinoids from an oil extract from the cannabis plant. Since paper-making is highly water intensive and the cannabinoid containing cannabis extract is an oil that is ordinarily immiscible in the water, an emulsifier is used to allow the cannabinoids to evenly disperse in the making of the paper. The addition of the cannabinoids and the emulsifier is done prior to the drying of the paper. Preferably, the emulsifier and cannabinoids are added during the sizing step of the paper-making. Preferably the emulsifier is a starch-like carbohydrate, a modified starch, more preferably hydroxy-propyl-methyl-cellulose. The cannabinoid containing cannabis extract can be added at the pulping, web-forming step and/or preferably at the sizing step of paper-making.

  • Patent number: 11014338
Abstract: A laminated motor-vehicle windshield includes two glass sheets that are joined together by an interlayer made of a thermoplastic of refractive index n1. The thermoplastic interlayer includes a cut-out section in the upper portion of the windshield. The cut-out section is filled with a multilayer film forming a waveguide for guiding waves from a bottom point of entrance of light radiation on the face of the windshield exposed to the exterior of the vehicle to a top point of exit of the radiation on the face of the windshield arranged toward the passenger compartment of the vehicle. The multilayer film includes layers of a first material of refractive index n2 such that n1?n2 and of a second material that at least partially reflects the light radiation. The second material is placed on either side of the layer of first material to confine, in the latter, the light radiation.

  • Patent number: 10902714
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for an alert system for reducing a risk of an adverse health event in a firefighter or first responder. In one example, the alert system may comprise a wearable sensor and an alerting device, where the alerting device may be operable to receive physiological and/or environmental data from the wearable sensor and where the alerting device may be further operable to issue an alert based on the received physiological and/or environmental data. In some examples, the alert may be a function of one or more personalized thresholds for evaluating a stress level of the firefighter or first responder. In some examples, the alert may be issued via multiple communication channels.
