Patent number: 10433477Abstract: A control system is operable to control an autonomous machine for autonomously applying one or more products to a jobsite in accordance with a set of operation instructions. The products are stored in one or more interchangeable containers which are initially located on a station. The control system broadly includes an alignment sensor and a machine processor. The alignment sensor is configured to sense and generate alignment data regarding a relative position of the station and a particular container that contains a particular product.Type: GrantFiled: July 20, 2018Date of Patent: October 8, 2019Assignee: Morris Industries Ltd.Inventors: Clint W. Sheppard, Conrad Allen Glowa, Benjamin Karl Voss

Publication number: 20190021220Abstract: A mobile agricultural product dispensing system is configured to hold a supply of agricultural product and transport the product for operations on a field by an agricultural machine. The dispensing system includes a wheeled supply station and a plurality of product containers. The supply station is operable to be advanced to and from the field and includes a rack assembly defining a series of container-receiving bays. The product containers are configured to be used interchangeably with the machine. Each container is configured to contain product and operably couple to the machine to dispense product thereto. Each container is removably supported by the rack assembly in a corresponding one of the bays.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 20, 2018Publication date: January 24, 2019Applicant: Morris Industries Ltd.Inventors: Clint W. Sheppard, Conrad Allen Glowa, Benjamin Karl Voss

Publication number: 20190021219Abstract: An agricultural system includes an agricultural product supply station, an autonomous agricultural machine, a plurality of product containers, and a powered transfer mechanism. The machine is operable to advance across a field while dispensing product. The product containers are configured to be removably stored by the supply station in a stored position and used interchangeably with the machine. Each container is configured to contain product and operably couple to the machine to dispense product thereto. Each container is shiftable between a machine-coupled position and the stored position. The container is attached to the machine in the machine-coupled position and detached from the machine in the stored position. The transfer mechanism is operably supported by at least one of the supply station and the implement and is configured to shift each container between the machine-coupled and stored positions.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 20, 2018Publication date: January 24, 2019Applicant: Morris Industries Ltd.Inventors: Clint W. Sheppard, Conrad Allen Glowa, Benjamin Karl Voss

Publication number: 20190021218Abstract: An autonomous agricultural implement is operable to advance itself across a field while dispensing agricultural product. The implement includes an implement chassis, a drive system, an interchangeable product container, and a plurality of openers. The container presents a chamber configured to hold a supply of product. The container is shiftable between coupled and uncoupled positions, with the container being detached from the implement chassis in the uncoupled position. The container includes a product flow barrier to selectively restrict product from flowing out of the chamber when the container is in the uncoupled position prior to the container being attached to the implement chassis. The container fluidly communicates with the openers when in the coupled position so that the openers receive product from the chamber.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 20, 2018Publication date: January 24, 2019Applicant: Morris Industries Ltd.Inventors: Clint W. Sheppard, Conrad Allen Glowa, Benjamin Karl Voss

Publication number: 20110145857Abstract: An advertising client device for inserting an advertisement into a live video programming stream is provided. One embodiment of the advertising client device comprises a match engine executed on a processor of the advertising client device. The match engine is configured to receive a programming stream from a media server upon tuning to the programming stream, to send an advertising decision request, after a predetermined delay time after tuning to the programming stream, to an advertising decision server for one or more advertising decisions for a predetermined programming time block, to receive an advertising decision response from the advertising decision server, to insert an advertisement into the programming stream based on a match between an in-band marker included in the programming stream and the advertising decision response, and to send the programming stream including the advertisement to a display for viewing.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 16, 2009Publication date: June 16, 2011Applicant: MICROSOFT CORPORATIONInventors: Gaurav Agarwal, Benjamin Karl Harden, Patricia L. Publication number: 20110086747Abstract: A video game chair for enhancing the enjoyment of a video game includes a chair member formed of a horizontal seat portion with a backrest portion vertically extending therefrom. This is a chair that utilizes arm movement, torso movement, leg movement and finger movement to control video games. The chair's movement is under resistance which is variable to suit the needs of the person playing the game. This resistance allows for a video gamer to benefit from extreme cardio and bodybuilding workouts while having their mind “in the game”.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 8, 2009Publication date: April 14, 2011Inventor: Benjamin Karl Broderick

Patent number: 5773378Abstract: A regenerator in a FCC unit, with the reactor elevated above the regenerator and a side entry spent catalyst introduction to the regenerator, is modified by installing a spent catalyst distribution apparatus along a central vertical axis of the regenerator to radially discharge the spent catalyst and 10-50 percent of the regeneration air into the dense phase of the catalyst. The existing compressor may be used to supply the regeneration air to the spent catalyst distributor. The remaining 50-90 percent of the regeneration air is supplied to the air distribution grid. The retrofit improves spent catalyst distribution and mixing in the regenerator to avoid dilute phase CO combustion or afterburning in the offgas.Type: GrantFiled: October 30, 1996Date of Patent: June 30, 1998Assignee: The M.
