    Abstract: A device for receiving at least one workpiece for a laser- or plasma-cutting device includes at least two support strips for placing the workpiece. The at least two support strips are oriented in a longitudinal direction and arranged next to each other. Each of the at least two support strips has at least one through-hole. The device further includes at least one connecting strip for connecting the at least two support strips to each other. The at least two support strips and the at least one connecting strip are configured such that the at least one connecting strip is capable of being guided in a first orientation in a transverse direction through the through-holes of the at least two support strips and being connected to the at least two support strips in a second orientation.
