The communication unit is designed for handling communication between the software clusters and has a dedicated manifest and a configuration table for this purpose. The method includes updating at least one of the software clusters and executing the Multi Device Connector Routine, where at least the manifest of the updated software cluster is read in; at least one new manifest is generated for the communication unit by way of the read-in manifest; and at least one new configuration table is generated for the communication unit.

A method for the management and collection of receivables includes performing collection activities with a telephone system. The method further includes tracking collection activity results for each of at least two telephone numbers associated with the debtor record over a period of time. The debtor record is inserted into a dynamic contact queue based on an overall contactability score for one of the at least two telephone numbers associated with the debtor. Account information associated with the debtor record is displayed based on the next-to-call position of the contact information associated with the debtor in the dynamic contact queue. The debtor is then automatically called using one of the telephone numbers associated with the debtor.
