  • Patent number: 10973089
Abstract: A heatable laminated side pane for an openable side window of a vehicle, with an upper edge, a lower edge, a front edge, and a rear edge, includes an outer pane and an inner pane, which panes are bonded to one another via a thermoplastic intermediate layer, and a transparent, heatable coating, which is arranged between the outer pane and the inner pane and which is electrically contacted by a first collecting rail and a second collecting rail and which has, for guiding a heating current flowing between the collecting rails, at least one decoated isolating line that runs between the collecting rails, wherein the first collecting rail and the second collecting rail are arranged along the front edge or the rear edge.

  • Publication number: 20190210328
Abstract: A viscoelastic plastic interlayer to be incorporated between two glass sheets of a glazing provides it with vibro-acoustic damping properties. The interlayer includes two outer layers made of standard PVB, first and second inner layers made of viscoelastic plastic material based on polyvinyl acetal and plasticizer, with improved acoustic properties, a central layer made of standard PVB, the first and the second inner layers being arranged, respectively, between the central layer and the first and second outer layers. The viscoelastic plastic interlayer, when incorporated between two glass sheets to form a laminated glazing with vibro-acoustic damping properties, allows an improvement in the acoustic insulation properties, in particular within a frequency range of between 1000 Hz and 5000 Hz, in which range the human ear is the most sensitive.

  • Publication number: 20190168488
Abstract: A composite pane having a multiple-ply composite layer arranged between outer and inner panes is presented. The composite layer is a laminate that includes a first thermoplastic film, a polyester film, and a second thermoplastic film. Thicknesses a, b, and c of the first thermoplastic film, the polyester film and the second thermoplastic film, are bound by the expressions: a/b=1/5 to 5/1, and c/(a+b)=25/1 to 2/1. The first thermoplastic film and the polyester film have a common edge that runs at a distance A from the edge of the second thermoplastic film, and the material of the second thermoplastic film fills the space between the common edge, the inner face of the outer pane, and the edge of the second thermoplastic film situated at the distance A from the common edge. Methods for use and production of the composite pane are also presented.

  • Publication number: 20180194112
Abstract: A vehicular laminated glass for separating a vehicle interior from an external environment is presented. The laminated glass includes inner and outer panes made of glass and having respective thicknesses of less than or equal to 0.4 mm, and greater than or equal to 1.5 mm, and an acoustically damping intermediate layer that bonds the inner pane to the outer pane. According to one aspect, the acoustically damping intermediate layer has two outer polymeric layers between which an inner polymeric layer is positioned, the outer polymeric layers having lower elasticity or plasticity than the inner polymeric layer. According to another aspect, the inner polymeric layer has a thickness of 0.05 mm to 0.40 mm, each of the outer polymeric layers have a thickness of 0.20 mm to 0.60 mm, and the total thickness of the acoustically damping intermediate layer is at least 0.70 mm.

  • Patent number: 9344531
Abstract: A conversion device is designed for converting message units of a first communications protocol, which are received by the conversion device on the input side, to container messages of a second communications protocol. A predefined maximal dwell duration in the conversion device is assigned to each message unit. The conversion device is designed for assigning message units with an identical recipient address received on the input side to a container message for the respective recipient address, and to forward the respective container message when the maximal dwell duration of one of the message units assigned to it has expired or a predefined maximal data volume is assigned to the respective container message, induced by the message units assigned to it.
