    Abstract: The invention is a method of rating the quality of wood, such as solid wood panels and hardwood veneer faces. The method incorporates multiple and different criteria, reconciling them with each other to produce a cumulative rating. This enables samples having different quality profiles to be compared directly to each other by simply comparing their respective cumulative ratings.
