  • Patent number: 8371550
Abstract: An equipment holder is provided with an optional grid function for positioning a first cabin component of an aircraft relative to a second cabin component of the aircraft and for attaching the two cabin components to each other. The equipment holder includes, but is not limited to an attachment element, a fixing element, and a position determination device. In this arrangement the attachment element is designed to attach the equipment holder to the first cabin component. The fixing element is designed to fix a position of the equipment holder relative to the second cabin component. Furthermore, the position determination device is designed to discontinuously indicate the position of the equipment holder relative to the second cabin component with a position signal.

  • Publication number: 20120124808
Abstract: A method is introduced for reducing the installation time for a supply channel on a first retaining structure in an aircraft. The method includes, but is not limited to pre-wiring a stowage compartment outside of the aircraft, installing a supply channel unit in the aircraft at a standardized installation position predefined by the first retaining structure. Standardizing the installation steps in this way makes numerous advantages possible, including a reduction in the installation time of the passenger supply channel within the framework of a final assembly of cabin components.

  • Patent number: 8118258
Abstract: The invention relates to a separation element for separating a first space from a second space in an aircraft. The separation element can be affixed between a ceiling region of the cabin, a hatrack in the ceiling region of the cabin, and between a movable space separation device. Furthermore, as a result of attachment between the ceiling region, the hatrack and the movable space separation device, the separation element is connectable in a lightproof manner to the ceiling region, and in a lightproof manner to the hatrack. Furthermore, the separation element is designed in such a manner that it is connectable in a lightproof manner to the movable space separation device.
