  • Publication number: 20210186747
Abstract: A breathing assistance apparatus including a body shaped to be at least partially positioned within the oral cavity of a user, the body including: a bite configured to receive teeth of the user in use; an extra-oral opening that extends between lips of the user; an intra-oral opening provided in the oral cavity to allow airflow into and/or out of a posterior region of the oral cavity; and, at least one airway wall configured to define in combination with the bite an enclosed airway extending between the extra-oral and intra-oral openings.

  • Publication number: 20210077293
Abstract: A breathing assistance apparatus includes an oral appliance and a valve arrangement. The oral appliance has an appliance body shaped to be at least partially positioned within the oral cavity of a user. The valve arrangement includes a valve body and a valve member. The valve body includes a valve airway in fluid communication with a user airway, and the valve member is positioned in the valve airway, movable between first and second positions at least in part as a result of airflow through the valve airway. The valve member at least partially obstructs the valve airway in the second position so that there is a differential resistance during inhalation and exhalation.

  • Publication number: 20190125574
Abstract: An apparatus for providing breathing assistance includes first and second bodies configured to be positioned within an oral cavity of a user. Each of the first and second bodies includes a recess configured to receive a respective set of teeth of a user. An adjustable mounting is configured to interconnect the first and second bodies to thereby allow a relative position of the first and second bodies to be adjusted.

  • Patent number: 9706720
Abstract: An indoor-outdoor garden unit including a basin having an overhead canopy, connected to a water source via a main water tube and holding a plurality of opaque growing trays with removable opaque lids for optimal sprout growth in the dark. The main water supply tube operationally communicates with an on-off timer controlling water cycles. Bottom holes in each growing tray allow water, infused into the basin by any of three selectable mechanisms, to flow upwardly to water the sprouts from underneath, and serve to drain water from the growing trays and to aerate the plants between watering cycles. Sprayers on the underside of each growing tray lid allow watering from the top side. Water can be infused into the basin by the direct basin fill inlet or by a water fountain from which water impacts a water catcher member undermounted on the canopy to shed droplets into the basin.

  • Patent number: 9119086
Abstract: Systems and methods for evaluating cellular voice call quality are disclosed. In some implementations, training data points are received. Each data point includes a call quality value and values of key performance indicators (KPIs) related to call quality. For each KPI, a linear relationship, having a goodness-of-fit value, between the KPI and the call quality value is determined using the multiple data points. Compulsory KPIs are selected based on the goodness-of-fit values. The training data points are separated into clusters based on the compulsory KPI values and the quality values. For each cluster, a mathematical relationship for calculating the call quality within the cluster is determined based on the one or more compulsory KPIs. A module is generated for predicting the call quality value by combining the determined mathematical relationships.
