Abstract: A floorplate assembly with a tactile round-count indicator is disclosed. The assembly includes a floorplate, a tactile indicator, a plunger, and first and second spring elements. The floorplate is configured to be secured to a floor end of an ammunition magazine and includes a slot through which the tactile indicator moves between a retracted position and a protruding position. The plunger is operatively coupled to the tactile indicator and moves the tactile indicator to the protruding position when the plunger is depressed. The first spring element is configured to bias the tactile indicator toward the retracted position. The second spring element is configured to bias the plunger relative to the tactile indicator.

Abstract: A power distribution hub is disclosed. The power distribution hub includes a housing having a concave back surface configured for attachment to a helmet and a mating interface configured for attachment of a shroud. An onboard power source is contained within the housing. A conductive interface is disposed on the mating interface and electrically connected to the onboard power source. The conductive interface is configured to supply power to a connected peripheral electronic device.

Abstract: A tailcap assembly for a portable electronic device, such as a flashlight, and a complementary plug. The tailcap assembly includes a USB Type-C receptacle that allows other devices, such as a remote switch, to be connected. In some implementations, the USB Type-C receptacle is used to facilitate the delivery of power and/or the transmission of data to the portable electronic device. An example tailcap assembly comprises a USB Type-C receptacle accessible through an opening in the tailcap assembly. The opening is configured to receive and detachably retain a complementary plug inserted into the USB Type-C receptacle. The opening includes two contoured edges positioned opposite each other, between which a portion of the complementary plug is positioned when connected to the USB Type-C receptacle.
