  • Publication number: 20250078670
Abstract: A method for managing taxiing paths of an aircraft includes at least one computer system, the method being implemented by the computer system. The method includes the following steps: editing an initial path; displaying a route of the initial path on a screen using a first route symbolism; obtaining a validation of the initial path; displaying a route of the validated initial path on the screen using a second route symbolism; implementing the validated initial path in a taxiing setpoint of the aircraft. The method further includes an editing process and an independent display process.

  • Publication number: 20240393926
Abstract: A display on a screen of human-machine interface of a cockpit of an aircraft includes a text entry region, a navigation chart region, and at least one other region. A specific pointing mode, active when text entry is in progress, and a normal pointing mode, active at all other times, are implemented. In normal pointing mode, a pointing action triggers the command if any associated with the location where the pointing action is carried out. In specific pointing mode, only a pointing action in the text entry region or in the navigation chart region triggers a command if any associated with the location where the pointing action is carried out, while a pointing action in the at least one other region triggers an abandonment of text entry. Thus, tasks requiring a pilot of the aircraft to enter text are simplified.

  • Patent number: 10186157
Abstract: A center to assist flight management of a plurality of an entity's aircraft comprising a control unit and at least two stations and communication equipment configured to receive data signals and to transmit/receive audio signals to/from each aircraft. The control unit comprises a man-machine interface connected to a central unit, the central unit being connected to a computation unit of each station and to the communication equipment to receive data signals and to transmit/receive audio signals to/from the equipment. Each station comprises, connected to the computation unit, a screen to display the data in the data signals sent by each aircraft and an audio device for the operator to exchange audio signals with the pilots. The central unit is configured to selectively activate/deactivate, as a function of the interactions of an operator with the interface, the exchanges of audio signals with the central unit of each station.

  • Patent number: 9862499
Abstract: A human machine interface linked to the throttle lever of an aircraft used to control the energy of an aircraft is disclosed. The HMI has upper part, which corresponds to the forward stroke of the lever, and a lower part, which corresponds to the rearward stroke of the lever. An upper shutter is positioned over the upper part, and a lower shutter is positioned over the lower part. A “cursor” acts as a visual representation in the HMI of the lever and its handle. The cursor moves forward or backward as the pilot acts on the lever/handle. The cursor indicates an ordered release of more or less aircraft energy, depending on its position on the display. The upper and lower shutters also indicate the ordered release of more or less aircraft energy, depending on the respective lengths of the two shutters.
