Abstract: An optical device includes a display that emits light toward a lightguide. Display light reflects from lightguide surfaces by total internal reflection (TIR). The display is mounted proximate to the lightguide. The optical device includes a first surface at an eye-side of the optical device and a second surface at a world-side. The optical device includes a first material having a first Abbe number and a second material having a second Abbe number different from the first Abbe number. The first material and the second material cause a color correction to light from the display or alters a chromatic aberration of the light from the display. A head mountable frame supports the display and the lightguide including the first and second materials.

The lid may include a front portion extending over the front of the pressing chamber and defining a slot that is aligned with a slot defined by the front wall to form the outlet. The front wall, the lid, and a sidewall may be removable for cleaning. The juice pack may have edges defining a rectangle with a spout at a first corner and an aperture for suspending the juice pack in the pressing chamber at a second corner that is intersected by a same edge intersecting the first corner.

An antenna may be located at a flexible section and may be a given distance away from the portion of the band that touches a user's skin when the wearable device is worn by a user. The flexible section may contain a grounding flap and also may be configured to stretch over a roller.

Abstract: The present invention includes a sun sensor assembly having an aperture that defines an area that is less than the area of the photo-detecting surface of a corresponding first photo-detector. According to another aspect, the present invention also includes a solar concentrator includes at least two sun sensor assemblies mounted on the concentrator in a manner to help the solar concentrator track the sun. According to another aspect, the present invention also includes a method of processing electrical signals from two or more photo-detectors. According to yet another aspect, the present invention includes a sun tracking system that includes a solar panel that includes a solar concentrator and control system.

The bactericide is an aqueous solution formed from water, copper sulfate pentahydrate and a reagent, which can either be an acid or hydrogen peroxide. The bactericide is applied as a coating on the food product and is especially useful in extending the shelf life of fruits and vegetables. Other applications of the bactericide include treatment of drinking water, bacteria and algae control in pools and natural bodies of, water and as a disinfectant in cleansers.

Abstract: Methods for forming a composite ring having unidirectional filaments embedded in a polymer matrix is disclosed. The filaments are spirally wound within the ring to form a plurality of essentially circular hoops which are in coaxial alignment with the expected lines of principle force. In one embodiment the formed ring is structurally integrated into the rotor of a gas turbine engine to reinforce the rotor and to restrain the rotor blades which extend outwardly of the ring.
