  • Publication number: 20230214500
Abstract: Providing a risk analysis report for an undesired event includes receiving a request comprising undesired event data defining an undesired event, wherein the undesired event data corresponds to an asset, identifying, from an attack database, one or more sets of attack attributes related to the undesired event data, and identifying one or more protection measures relevant to the asset and the attack attributes. The technique also includes performing a first set of Monte Carlo simulations for the undesired event based on combinations of the attack attributes, the protection measures, and the asset, and performing a second set of Monte Carlo simulations for the undesired event based on a subset of the combinations of the attack attribute. One or more combinations of the attack attributes, the protection measures, and the asset which result in the undesired event are provided in accordance with outcomes.

  • Publication number: 20230154316
Abstract: A solution is disclosed for a design system configured to design a transportation network comprising a hyperloop portal. The design system and associated processes are configured to enable a hyperloop designer (or operator) to generate a logical layout of a hyperloop portal. The logical layout may then be used to generate a physical layout that is based on alignment data. The alignment data generally comprises constraints imposed on the hyperloop portal. The solution further optimizes the logical layout, the physical layout, or a combination thereof to generate results for designers to review, simulate, and/or implement in the field. One manner of reviewing the physical layout is to overlay the physical layout on a real-world map.

  • Publication number: 20230103167
Abstract: A work machine, such as a skid steer loader or a compact track loader, includes an air intake assembly for a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) unit. A conduit integrated into a structure supporting a roof over an operator cab accepts air and water from the atmosphere through an air inlet proximate the roof. A debris outlet downstream in the conduit allows gravity to return the water to the environment. Between the air inlet and the debris outlet, an orifice in the conduit connects to an air duct through which the air may be diverted by suction from the HVAC unit. An air filter at the end of the air duct removes remaining particulates from the air prior to conditioning by the HVAC unit. Sizing the cross-sectional areas of the air path to exceed a cross-sectional area of an inlet to the air filter and providing a substantially straight air path avoids resistance to air flow, resulting in efficient intake of cleaner air.

  • Patent number: 11587170
Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices may enable management of a renewable power asset. A control device may generate a Day-Ahead (DA) pricing model, a Real-Time (RT) pricing model and a renewable generation model for the renewable power asset. Optimal DA commitments may be determined, and an optimal RT schedule estimated. A DA power delivery strategy and an RT power delivery strategy may be determined. The determined DA and RT power delivery strategies may be evaluated based on obtained real power prices. The DA and RT power delivery strategies may be redetermined, and the renewable power asset may be controlled to deliver power the DA and RT power delivery strategies. The value of the renewable power asset may be maximized while bounding financial risks and returns associated with scheduling the renewable power asset as tailored to risk preferences of the renewable power asset owner or operator.

  • Patent number: 11563748
Abstract: Application permissions can be set in a cloud computing environment based on a user's authorization level in the cloud computing environment. For example, a system can determine that a user has a particular authorization level in a cloud computing environment. The system can determine that the user is to have particular permissions for a continuous integration tool by mapping the particular authorization level to the particular permissions. The system can then set a permission setting for the continuous integration tool to limit the user to the particular permissions.
