Abstract: An electric grooming appliance includes a housing, a grooming device, an electric motor, and a controller. In some embodiments, the electric grooming appliance is capable of operating in different modes and includes a user interface which allows a user to communicate with the controller and select at least one of the modes. The electric grooming appliance may provide information to the user relating to information determined and/or detected during a grooming session. In addition, the electric grooming appliance may record or store grooming session information on a memory and estimate future operating parameters based on the grooming session information. The electric grooming appliance may include a trimmer assembly that is positionable between a stowed position and an operative position.

Abstract: A hair styling apparatus includes a heating assembly that is configured to deliver heat to hair. The hair styling apparatus is configured to energize a heating element of the heating assembly to deliver heat to the hair during a first styling operation. In one embodiment, the hair styling apparatus is configured to determine an estimated hair temperature, compare the estimated hair temperature to a desired hair temperature profile, and energize the heating assembly during a second styling operation based on the comparison. In another embodiment, the hair styling apparatus determines a curl profile of the hair based on a temperature of the heating assembly or the hair. The hair styling apparatus is configured to compare the curl profile to a desired curl profile, and energize the heating assembly during a second styling operation based on the comparison.

Abstract: An electric hair grooming appliance includes a handle and a hair grooming device. The electric hair grooming appliance also includes a pivot assembly pivotably attaching the hair grooming device to the handle. The pivot assembly includes a spherical housing. The hair grooming device and the spherical housing are pivotable relative to the handle about at least two pivot axes extending through the spherical housing. The electric hair grooming appliance further includes a motor contained in the spherical housing. The motor is configured to drive the hair grooming device.

Abstract: A system is described that obtains first performance data collected during execution of a first application at a first group of computing devices, determines, based on the first performance data, at least one metric for quantifying performance of the first application, and compares the at least one metric to a corresponding benchmark derived from second performance data collected during execution of one or more second applications at a second group of computing devices. Each of the one or more second applications being different than the first application. The system determines whether the at least one metric is within a threshold amount of the corresponding benchmark, and further determines, determines, based at least in part on the at least one metric is not within the threshold amount of the corresponding benchmark, a fix to the first application and outputs, for presentation at a developer device, an indication of the fix.
