  • Publication number: 20240120040
Abstract: A biological specimen of a subject is handled and tracked for a procedure involving that specimen. Prior to initiation of the procedure, a first procedure data structure (PDS) is generated. The first PDS binds an identifier corresponding to the subject with an indicator of a procedure to be performed on the specimen and identifiers of a specimen container and a specimen holder that physically contacts the biological specimen, as well as a scheduled time for the procedure. A schedule of a plurality of PDSs including the first PDS, is displayed on a display device of a graphical user interface. Following initiation of the procedure, the first PDS is updated based on user input, and after the procedure, at least a portion of the first PDS, as updated, is stored in a database in conjunction with other PDSs respectively associated with other completed procedures.

  • Patent number: 10600175
Abstract: Systems and methods of a two-pass inspection methodology that dynamically creates micro care areas for inspection of repeater defects. Micro care areas can be formed around each location of a repeater defect. After inspection, additional repeater defects in the micro care areas can be identified. Attributes of the repeater defects can be compared and any repeater defects with attributes that deviate from an expected group attribute distribution can be classified as nuisance.

  • Patent number: 10460829
Abstract: In one embodiment, a method of encoding variation data for a population comprises receiving, by a variant encoding engine executing on a processor, information describing genetic variation of a population of individuals. The information comprises a plurality of variable sites within the reference genome of the population and the genotypes of a plurality of individuals in the population with respect to those variable sites. The method further comprises selecting an encoding strategy for the information based on the characteristics of the genetic variation across the population, and encoding the information according to the selected encoding strategy. In certain embodiments, selecting an encoding strategy may comprise determining the variability of a variable site within the population, and encoding information associated with the variable site based on the variability.

  • Patent number: 10395358
Abstract: Systems and methods for detecting defects on a reticle are provided. One system includes computer subsystem(s) that include one or more image processing components that acquire images generated by an inspection subsystem for a wafer, a main user interface component that provides information generated for the wafer and the reticle to a user and receives instructions from the user, and an interface component that provides an interface between the one or more image processing components and the main user interface. Unlike currently used systems, the one or more image processing components are configured for performing repeater defect detection by applying a repeater defect detection algorithm to the images acquired by the one or more image processing components, and the repeater defect detection algorithm is configured to detect defects on the wafer using a hot threshold and to identify the defects that are repeater defects.

  • Patent number: 10275803
Abstract: A method for sending content to a target audience uses a server in communication with a device and a database to create and customize a content selection, such as an advertisement, and to select a target audience meeting a characteristic criteria selection and a geographic criteria selection. The server generates and sends a personalized content output, including the content selection, to the target audience using digital or print delivery methods. The method may also include consumers interacting with content providers through a website or application. The consumers may customize the content that is received and the delivery method. The method may also include an incentive program for consumers.

  • Patent number: 10126068
Abstract: A heat exchanger apparatus includes a housing that defines a flow passage for a first fluid. The housing has a housing fluid inlet and a housing fluid outlet communicating with the flow passage. A first heat exchanger is located within the flow passage of the housing between the housing fluid inlet and the housing fluid outlet. The first heat exchanger has a plurality of channels for transmitting a second fluid through the first heat exchanger. The heat exchanger apparatus also includes a flow diverter in the flow passage, between the housing fluid inlet and the first heat exchanger, for diverting some of the first fluid to a by-pass region of the flow passage that by-passes the first heat exchanger. As well, a flow control device is in communication with the housing fluid inlet and controls a volume and location of the first fluid entering the flow passage.
