  • Publication number: 20210129096
Abstract: A mixing and dispensing system for a two-component material, such as a bone cement, the mixing and dispensing system including a handle connected to the mixer via a mixing shaft. The mixing shaft extends through the piston from the piston driving end in the direction of the outlet end in order to move the mixer in dependence on movements initiated via the handle, and with the handle being detachable, in particular in a non-destructive manner, from the mixing shaft via a connector.

  • Patent number: 10980588
Abstract: A separator element (300) is designed to prevent the passage of granulate along an axial direction (L) but to allow the passage of liquid along the axial direction (L). The separator element (300) has an internal thread (310) open towards its proximal end, and an external thread (320) open towards the distal end. At its proximal end, the separator element additionally has at least one resilient locking arm (330) which is arranged on the outer circumference and winch extends with its free end in the proximal direction. In this way, the separator element can be mounted on the discharge opening of a container (100) and, by means of a closure piece (400), can be fixed on the container in such a way that the separator element remains on the container when the closure piece is removed.

  • Patent number: 10478316
Abstract: A discharge device (1) comprising a housing (200), a container insert (300) rotatably arranged therein and a piston. A lateral cutout (205) is formed in one housing wall (204), and a lateral container opening (303) is formed in one container wall (304). In order to prevent the compound from being compressed as the compound is discharged, the lateral container opening extends continuously as far as the distal container end (302) without a region of the container wall adjoining the lateral container opening in the distal direction along the longitudinal axis. In order to make it easier to put in the compound, the wall thickness of the housing wall decreases continuously toward the lateral cutout (205). In order to prevent clogging of the piston, the cross section of the container insert widens continuously in the distal direction.

  • Publication number: 20190223931
Abstract: A mixing and delivery system (1) and a method for impregnating granules (G) with a liquid and for delivering a resulting mixture are specified. The mixing and delivery system (1) has a container (2) for holding the granules. In a distal end region (25) of the container is arranged a separation element (4), which is designed to retain granules but allow liquid to pass through. The container has a predefined breaking point (27) proximal of the separation element (4) so that the distal end region between the predefined breaking point and the distal container end (23) can be broken off from the container together with the separation element (4), thereby creating a delivery opening on the container for delivering the mixture.
