Abstract: A fitting for a folding door arranged on a furniture carcass has at least one first door leaf and a second door leaf connected thereto in a jointed manner. The fitting has a contact part arranged on the first or second door leaf, and the contact part is movably arranged between a contact position and a rest position on the first or second door leaf. In a closed position of the folding door, the contact part in the contact position can be brought into contact with the furniture carcass or a component of the furniture carcass and, in an open position of the folding door, the contact part in the rest position is movable in an intermediate chamber between the first and the second door leaf.
