    Abstract: Display and docking apparatuses for portable electronic devices are disclosed. A display apparatus includes a portable electronic device assembly and a docking stand assembly. A portable electronic device assembly includes a portable electronic device (PED) and a case. A docking stand assembly includes a docking tray to removably attach to the PED assembly, a base, a hinge connecting the docking tray and the base and to allow the docking tray to pivot relative to the base, and a cable attached to a first interface and a second interface. The cable is to travel through at least a portion of the docking stand assembly with the first interface located at the base of the docking stand assembly and the second interface available at (or integrated into) the docking tray. The base may be divided into one or more removeable modules, each module providing additional functionality to the display apparatus.
