Abstract: An HVAC system and configuration can be selected for a building. By applying BIM data to an HVAC recommendation engine, the HVAC recommendation engine provides one or more devices and/or configuration of those devices. The technique includes obtaining BIM data for a building from a BIM repository. The BIM data is applied to a recommendation engine configured to generate one or more HVAC options, each of the one or more HVAC options associated with one or more HVAC devices. The one or more HVAC options for the building on a display device. For reconfiguring a preexisting HVAC system, the technique includes obtaining device data for one or more additional HVAC devices to be included in the HVAC system, and generating one or more options for HVAC devices to add and configure for the preexisting system.

Abstract: A method of commissioning physical HVAC devices for an HVAC application including communicatively connecting physical HVAC devices to a communication bus, one physical HVAC device being selected as master HVAC device, identifying the physical HVAC devices connected to the communication bus, determining device type(s) of the physical HVAC devices, receiving an application model including a device list listing virtual HVAC devices of the HVAC application, generating, by the master HVAC device, a mapping of the physical HVAC devices to the virtual HVAC devices using the device type(s) of the physical HVAC devices and of the virtual HVAC devices.

The first logical table includes a plurality of logical columns, each logical column including an input vector of a plurality of input parameters corresponding to a respective time, and a plurality of logical rows intersecting with the plurality of logical columns, each logical row corresponding to a respective input parameter. The device updates a respective logical column with a first input vector that corresponds to a second time subsequent to the first time, thereby obtaining a second logical table; obtains a first transposed kernel matrix between the second logical table for the second time and the first input vector; determines a first predicted output value for the second time; and outputs the first predicted output value.

Abstract: According to one embodiment a replaceable filter element includes a substantially annular filter media extending from a first end to a second end and has an exterior, a substantially hollow interior, and a first permeability. A first end plate is coupled to the first end of the substantially annular filter media. The first end plate includes an aperture leading to the substantially hollow interior of the substantially annular filter media. The replaceable filter element includes a filter media piece positioned adjacent the second end of the substantially annular filter media and has a second permeability less than the first permeability. The replaceable filter element includes an outer wrap extending from the second end of the substantially annular filter media along a portion of the exterior of the substantially annular filter media.
