Abstract: Persistent content capture is described, including detecting an input associated with data presented in a first area of an environment, moving the data from the first area to a second area of the environment in response to the input, wherein moving the data generates processed data, and providing an interface element in the second area, the interface element being associated with the data and processed data, wherein the interface element is not affected by a function performed in the first area of the environment and the data and the processed data are accessed when the interface element is selected.
