Abstract: In A fishing reel including a housing, a shaft supported in the housing and configured to rotate relative to the housing around a shaft axis extended in a longitudinal direction of the shaft, and a spool fixed with the shaft to rotate with the shaft around the shaft axis for winding and unwinding a fishing line. The fishing reel also includes a stator fixed with the housing, where the spool is configured to rotate with the shaft relative to the stator and the housing, a stator magnet that is an electromagnet fixed with the stator, a rotor including a first rotor plate fixed with the shaft to rotate with the shaft around the shaft axis, and a first rotor magnet fixed with the first rotor plate. The stator magnet is configured to receive an electrical current and generate a magnetic field from the stator to the first rotor magnet.

Abstract: A spa tub includes a spa shell configured to contain a volume of water; a circulation system configured to create a flow of the water to and from the spa shell; and a testing system configured to acquire water samples from the volume of water and to perform water quality tests on the water samples. The testing system includes a housing; a circulation pump disposed within the housing configured to acquire the water samples from the volume of water; a replaceable reagent cartridge removably received within the housing; and a water test assembly disposed within the housing. The water test assembly is configured to receive the water samples acquired by the circulation pump and a reagent from the reagent cartridge. The water test assembly is configured to mix the water samples and the reagent and to perform the water quality tests on the mixed water samples and reagent.

Abstract: A modular structure has a frame including header beams defining an outer perimeter of the structure at a top of the frame, header corner brackets connecting consecutively arranged header beams, footer beams defining an outer perimeter of the structure at a bottom of the structure, footer corner brackets connecting consecutively arranged footer beams, and intermediate beams extended between the top of the frame and the bottom of the structure, each intermediate beam being fixed with one of the header corner brackets, and fixed with one of the footer corners brackets. A roof supported on the frame includes an arm positioned on one of the header corner brackets. A turnbuckle fixed at a position closer to the top of the frame as compared to the bottom of the structure, and fixed at a position closer to the bottom of the structure as compared to the top of the frame.

Abstract: A fishing reel includes a frame, a spool coupled to the frame for rotation about a rotational axis, a light source, a first optic, a sensor, a second optic, a controller, and a braking mechanism. The spool includes a first flange and a second flange. The first optic is positioned such that light emanating from the light source and passing through the first optic generates a substantially collimated band of light parallel with the rotational axis. The second optic is positioned and configured to focus the substantially collimated band of light toward the sensor. The controller is electrically coupled to the sensor and is configured to receive signals from the sensor and to generate a braking signal. The braking mechanism is electrically coupled to the controller, and the braking mechanism applies a braking force to slow the spool in response to the braking signal.
