  • Patent number: 9896958
Abstract: A method for monitoring an ignition sequence of an engine, in particular a turbomachine engine, including the following steps: (i) defining an ignition time of the engine for a defined starting parameter, (ii) comparing the ignition time of the engine defined in this way with a reference ignition time expected for a reference engine and for this starting parameter, (iii) deducing an indicator of the bringing into operation of the engine, (iv) repeating steps (i) to (iii) for this starting parameter, for each bringing into operation of the engine of the sequence, and (v) on the basis of the change in the indicator, generating a degradation alert for the ignition sequence of the engine.

  • Patent number: 9273613
Abstract: A method monitoring a servo-control loop, including: estimating monitoring parameters from operating data of the servo-control loop; obtaining indicators from the monitoring parameters; determining at least one signature from values of at least some of the indicators; and detecting and locating a degradation affecting the servo-control loop as a function of the at least one determined signature.

  • Patent number: 9032786
Abstract: A method for monitoring a control device of a fuel metering valve of an aircraft turbojet engine, the control device supplying a control current to a servo valve in order to modify the position of the fuel metering valve. The method includes determining the position of the fuel metering valve during a flight of the aircraft, determining the travelling speed of the fuel metering valve, and determining the control current when the travelling speed of the fuel metering valve is zero. A mean control current is calculated when the travelling speed of the fuel metering valve is zero, the mean control current forming an indicator of deterioration of the control device. The deterioration indicator is compared with a reference base of indicators with deterioration so as to infer the type of deterioration from it, and an abnormality score is calculated for the deterioration indicator.
