  • Publication number: 20110297125
Abstract: A common rail fuel system includes a reverse flow check valve fluidly positioned between each of a plurality of common rail fuel injectors and an outlet of a high pressure pump. The reverse flow check valves divide the overall system fluid volume into an upstream common volume and a plurality of separate downstream volumes. The upstream common volume is greater than the sum of the separate downstream volumes. The reverse flow check valve is movable between a first configuration with a large flow area and a second configuration with a small flow area. The reverse flow check valve associated with each of the individual fuel injectors may be housed in a quill that fluidly connects the fuel injectors to the high pressure common rail.

  • Patent number: 8039070
Abstract: A heat-shrinkable film suitable for forming an easy opening cook-in bag is provided. The film comprises at least five layers, including an inner layer, an inner frangible layer, a barrier layer, an outer frangible layer, and an outer layer. The film is capable of being formed into a bag comprising a lap seal, a top end seal, and a bottom end seal, wherein the seals are heat sealed to a closed condition to contain and protect a product disposed therein. The lap seal, top end seal, and bottom end seal each are able to remain sealed during cook-in conditions. Additionally, the lap seal, top end seal, and bottom end seal each are peelable and easily openable by application of force.

  • Patent number: 7658179
Abstract: A fluid leak limiter for a high-pressure fuel injection system is disclosed. The fluid leak limiter may have a body at least partially defining a central bore with a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet, and a sleeve piston. The fluid leak limiter may also have a spring located to bias the sleeve piston toward a first flow-blocking position. The sleeve piston may be movable by a first pressure differential between the fluid inlet and the fluid outlet against the bias of the spring toward a flow-passing position at which fluid from the fluid inlet is allowed to flow to the fluid outlet. The sleeve piston may also be movable by a second pressure differential between the fluid inlet and the fluid outlet against the bias of the spring toward a second flow-blocking position at which fluid from the fluid inlet is inhibited from flowing to the fluid outlet.

  • Patent number: 7584940
Abstract: A tree stand lock apparatus comprises a ratchet buckle part and a wire rope part. The ratchet buckle part comprises a spool with a transaxial bore, a ratcheting lever handle, a locking means and a base affixed to a hook. The wire rope part comprises a wire rope, one end of which is affixed to a hook. The lock may be employed by wrapping the wire rope around a portion of a tree stand, hooking the hook of the rope to the hook of the ratchet buckle and threading the wire rope through the transaxial bore. The ratchet buckle is operated to render the wire rope taut and the buckle is locked in the closed position.

  • Publication number: 20080022974
Abstract: A pressure relief valve is provided for a common rail fuel system. The pressure relief valve has a housing with an inlet, an outlet, and a central bore fluidly connecting the inlet and the outlet. The pressure relief valve also has a single valve seat and a first valve element movable to selectively block a flow of fluid through the single valve seat. The pressure relief valve further has a second valve element disposed within the central bore of the housing and movable to selectively block a flow of fluid through the central bore.

  • Patent number: 4085869
Abstract: An improved feed dispenser for conveying mixed feed from a discharge opening of a mixing hopper and for directing the flow of feed exiting the dispenser, said dispenser including a trough contoured to an auger; a slideably disposed outlet door between the mixing hopper and the trough; a retractable, hingedly disposed spout for directing the flow of feed during dispensing and for closing the trough at other times to prevent feed loss; and fluidic cylinder operated lever structure for simultaneously sliding the outlet door to open the flow of feed to be engaged by the auger and for lowering the spout for directing the flow of mixed feed from the trough.
