  • Publication number: 20170349110
Abstract: A vehicle-mounted equipment carrier includes a mounting member, an equipment support, and a mast. A lower end of the mast is pivotably interconnected with the mounting member and an upper end of the mast supports the equipment support. The mast is pivotable between an upright position for transport and a lowered position that positions the mast rearwardly of the vehicle. A movable connection between the mast and the equipment support lowers an inner end of the equipment support while raising an outer end when the mast is lowered, and raises the inner end of the equipment support while lowering the outer end when the mast is raised. The center of gravity of the equipment carried by the equipment support remains at a constant elevation during movement of the mast between the upright position and the lowered position.

  • Patent number: 8583969
Abstract: Apparatus, systems and methods are described that facilitate the detection of errors within a remote control for a controlled device. A remote control detects an error condition during operation and transmits information regarding the error to a controlled device. The information regarding the error may be analyzed to determine the source of the problem in the remote control and/or possible solutions.

  • Publication number: 20030145539
Abstract: The invention is a special baseboard that looks like any ordinary baseboard, yet is simple to install and has an added benefit of having a removable front panel. Once removed the invention will give access to the built-in cable tray to which cables can be retained and housed when the front part is replaced. One of the unique benefits of this invention is that no surrounding decor will be damaged by the correct removal and replacement of the front panel.

  • Publication number: 20030005696
Abstract: The “Internal Combustion Engine Energy Extractor” is a device that is extracts otherwise wasted heat from both the engine exhaust system and it's cooling system. This heat is converted into mechanical energy, which is 1) used to power the “Extractor” and 2) may be used for auxiliary engine devices, such as an intake air supercharger or an electrical generator. The Energy Extractor by itself 1) increases engine efficiency and power by decreasing exhaust back pressure and 2) decreases engine wear by decreasing the cylinder and engine temperature.
