Abstract: Disclosed are a method, system, and apparatus of a virtual reality enhanced police training system for school security preparedness systems and related methods. In one embodiment, a system includes an access control module to provide secure access to a digital twin of an educational institution to an authorized individual in a law enforcement agency and/or a fire department operating in the jurisdiction. An artificial intelligence model (e.g., trained on historical data and reinforcement learning) determines a security threat and/or a safety threat to the educational institution. A training module automatically generates a scenario based training using the artificial intelligence model to be used by the authorized individual. An assessment module determines an area for improvement of the authorized individual using the artificial intelligence model and/or a score of the authorized individual when compared to other authorized individuals.
