The tellurium-containing compound is utilized in combination with a chemotherapeutic agent and/or radiation, such that the female treated by the chemotherapeutic agent and/or radiation and by the tellurium-containing compound is instructed to refrain from sex and/or from reproduction for a pre-determined time period, and is then allowed to practice reproduction.
