  • Publication number: 20240134893
Abstract: Systems and methods provides for dialog management in real-time rather than turn taking. An example method included generating first candidate responses to triggering event. The triggering event may be receipt of a live stream chunk for the dialog or receipt of a backend response to a previous backend request for a dialog shema. The method also includes updating a list of candidate responses that are accepted or pending with at least on of the first candidate responses, and determining, for the triggering event, whether the list of candidate responses includes a candidate response that has a confidence score that meets a triggering threshold. The method also includes waiting for a next triggering event without providing a candidate response when the list does not include a candidate response that has a confidence score that meets the triggering threshold.

  • Publication number: 20240083244
Abstract: An electric power take-off system for mounting to a truck body to complement an existing power-take-off system powered by an internal combustion engine. The system includes a motor, battery, fluid reservoir, pump and a digital sensing unit for sensing at least one of fluid pressure or a fluid flow rate within the fluid delivery conduit. The digital sensing unit also includes an output capability. The system also includes a motor controller in operable communication with the digital sensing unit as well as the motor for instantaneously controlling the rotational speed of the motor. The motor controller in turn limits operation of the motor only to occasions of truck function operation initiated by the system operator.

  • Publication number: 20240036345
Abstract: A method for optical contact bonding components includes: placing a first surface (2a) of a first component (2) onto a second surface (3a) of a second component (3), to form an air film, and pressing the first surface against the second surface for optical contact bonding of the two components. Placing and pressing the first component is carried out by a robot (4). A laminar gas flow (10) is generated between the first and second surfaces with a ventilation device (9). A related apparatus (1) includes: the robot, configured to place the first surface onto the second surface thereby forming an air film. The robot presses the first surface against the second surface, to optically contact bond the first and second components. A holding device (8) holds the second component during the placing and pressing. A ventilation device generates the laminar gas flow between the first and second surfaces.

  • Patent number: 11860913
Abstract: Systems and methods provides for dialog management in real-time rather than turn taking. An example method included generating first candidate responses to triggering event. The triggering event may be receipt of a live stream chunk for the dialog or receipt of a backend response to a previous backend request for a dialog schema.

  • Publication number: 20230036073
Abstract: Acoustic forces in an acoustic field can be increased via introduction of “seeding particles” with higher or similar contrast factor and/or size relative to the particles targeted for retention in the acoustic field. This feature may be implemented in an acoustic concentration device or an acoustic separation device. Increases in acoustic forces lead to better particle retention and can permit increased flow rates through an acoustic particle processing device.

  • Publication number: 20220186174
Abstract: An acoustic wave with an acoustic field with a large number of multi-directional gradients can provide an edge effect that be used to form an interface region relative to the acoustic wave. The interface region can block material with certain characteristics related to the nature of the interface region. Other material that is less influenced by the acoustic properties of the interface region can pass through the acoustic wave. This technique permits separation of materials using the edge effect and interface region.

  • Patent number: 11321535
Abstract: Systems and methods for annotating conversations between a user and an electronic assistant in a hierarchical manner are disclosed. An example system includes a data store of hierarchical annotation records. The hierarchical annotation records include root records and non-root records. Each root record has a conversation identifier and an annotation identifier. Each non-root record includes an annotation identifier and a parent identifier, the parent identifier being an annotation identifier of another record. At least some of the non-root records further include an annotation tag. The system generates a first new root record and first non-root records for an input dialog act and generates a second new root record and second non-root records for an output dialog act that is responsive to the input dialog act. At least one of the second non-root records includes an annotation tag linking back to a record of the first non-root records.
